Darius Rucker Plans Good For a Good Time Tour
Say what you will, but I love me some Darius Rucker. I love the sound of his voice. Good news for me, the country crooner has just announced a brand new 20-date tour this summer. Rucker will be joined on the road by Dan + Shay and Michael Ray. The tour is dubbed the “Good for a Good Time”Tour and will kick off on June 3 in Tampa, FL and will wrap up Sept. 11 in Alpharetta, GA. Some of the other stops along the way include Dallas, Chicago (yay for me), Detroit and Raleigh. Prior to the tour, fans can also check out Darius at the Houston Rodeo, as well as the Bayou Country Superfest.
Darius Rucker’s newest album, “Southern Style” was released last spring on March 31, 2015. He had a big tour to support that album and Brett Eldredge, Brothers Osbourne, A Thousand Horses and David Nail joined him for that tour. His previous album, “Home For the Holidays”, a Christmas album, was released in 2013. Before that, his fourth album, “True Believers” was released in May of 2013 and that album reached the #2 spot on the Billboard 200.
