Sting and Peter Gabriel Plan Joint Summer Tour
A match made in soft rock heaven? It might be! British singer-songwriter Sting is pairing up with Peter Gabriel for a 19-date North American tour. The tour is dubbed the Rock Paper Scissors Tour and kicks off June 21 in Columbus, OH and wraps up July 24 in Edmonton, AB. Some of the other stops along the way include Washington D.C., New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, Toronto, Montreal and Calgary. Fans can expect the two legendary artists to play their own sets, as well as a promise to “meld their bands to explore each other’s celebrated hits.”
Sting was last on U.S. tour in 2014 for a joint tour with Paul Simon and their “On Stage Together” tour. Sting also had a lengthy European tour in 2015. His last album, “The Last Ship” was released in 2013.
