Weezer and Panic At the Disco Plan Summer Tour Together
One of my favorite bands of all time just announced a new summer tour. I have been a Weezer fan for about 20 years now (oy) and they will be heading out on the road this summer with Panic!At The Disco is support of Weezer’s newest, self-titled album. The tour will kick off June 10 in Spring, TX and will wrap up Aug. 6 in Irvine, CA. Some of the stops along the way include Tampa, Atlanta, Toronto, Dallas and Phoenix. Andrew McMahon of Jack’s Mannequin and Something Corporate fame will be joining them as a special guest on tour.
Weezer will release their newest and fourth self-titled album (this one is known as “The White Album”) on April 1. Included on that album is the already released single, “Thank God for Girls” which has topped out at the #13 spot on the Hot Rock Songs chart on Billboard. Their last album, “Everything will be Alright in the End” was released in 2014 and reached the #2 spot on Billboard Top Rock Albums. Their first self-titled album, the blue album was released 22 years ago in 1994 🙁
