Billy Joel Announces More 2019 Baseball Stadium Tour

It’s true, Billy Joel is a musical icon.  A staple on the music scene for over 40 years, the legend doesn’t show any signs of slowing down at all.  2018 was already a busy year with touring AND a residency, but now the ‘Piano Man’ announced that the will be continuing into 2019 with his baseball stadium tours.  Stops include Chase Field, Miller Park, Citizens Bank Park, Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Coors Field, Fenway Park and Globe Life Park.  Obviously he will be performing on the regular at New York City’s Madison Square Garden as he continues to hold the record of total performances, taking the title from Sir Elton John.

Billy Joel got his start in music way back in 1972 and has since sold over 150 million records and has 33 Top 40 hits under his belt.  Additionally, he has won six Grammy Awards and it the third best-selling solo artist of all time in the United States.  He is a native New Yorker and a die hard Yankees fan.  He was inducted in to the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1992, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999 and The Long Island Music Hall of Fame in 2006.
