Pearl Jam Announces 2020 Gigaton Tour

Pioneers of grunge rock of the 90’s, massive Cubs fans (woot!) and Grammy award winning band Pearl Jam dropped the news of a highly-anticipated 2020 North American tour in support of their latest album, “Gigaton.”  The first of 16 shows will kick off March 18 in Toronto, ON and will finish April 19 in Oakland, CA.  They will also make stops in Ottawa, Quebec City, Baltimore, New York City, Nashville, St. Louis, Oklahoma City, Denver, Phoenix, San Diego and Los Angeles.  Pearl Jam last toured in 2018 when they toured hodge podge across South America, Europe and America.

Pearl Jam plans to release their latest album, “Gigaton” on March 27th, 2020 via Republic Records and their own Monkeywrench label.  It is their 11th studio album. Their previous album, “Lightning Bolt” was dropped in 2013 and peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200 and earned them Best Recording Package at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.  Since getting their start in 1990, they have sold more than 85 million records worldwide and have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  Pearl Jam is made up of founding members Eddie Vedder (lead vocals, guitar), Mike McCready (lead guitar), Stone Gossard (rhythm guitar) and Jeff Ament (bass) as well as drummer Matt Cameron, who joined in 1998.
