Trey Anastasio Announces New Group and 2019 Tour Dates

Big jam band news! Phish co-founder Trey Anastasio is ready to travel with a new band OF HIS OWN.  Though information is still pretty limited, he has announced a new endeavor dubbed Ghosts of the Forest with some familiar friends including bassist Tony Markellis (of the Trey Anastasio Band) and drummer Jon Fishman (of Phish), as well as keyboardist Ray Paczkowski and vocalists Jennifer Hatswick and Cellise.  Previously, Trey had been touring with acts like Surrender the Air and Oysterhead and more recently been enjoying his solo work and taking the leading role in the Grateful Dead 50th Anniversary shows.

Trey and his new band will make their debut with a short tour kicking off April 4 in Portland, ME and wrapping up April 20 in Berkeley, CA where there will be NO pot consumed at all. Haha.
