Kid Rock Announces 2018 ‘Sweet Southern Sugar’ Tour

Like him or hate him, you have to admit that Kid Rock is at least interesting.  After finally confirming he has no political aspirations, he’s ready to continue on musically.  Kid Rock just announced that we will be hitting the road in 2018 in support of his next album, ‘Sweet Southern Sugar.’  The first of the 22-date tour will kick off Jan. 19 in Nashville, TN and will wrap up March 24 in Las Vegas, NV.  He will also travel to Houston, Toronto, Philadelphia and Chicago.  Before the tour kicks off, Kid Rock will be performing a New Year’s Eve Bash at Kansas City’s Spring Center.  His last tour was in 2015 with rock veterans Foreigner.

Kid Rock plans to release his newest album, ‘Sweet Southern Sugar’ next month on Nov. 3, 2017 via BBR Music Group.  This will be his eleventh studio album and according to the official press release, the new album “ranges from country to classic rock, with a little rap sprinkled in” and includes the new singles ‘Greatest Show on Earth’ and ‘Po-Dunk’.  His 2015 album, ‘First Kiss’ peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200.  In 2013 he spent most of the year touring with his Rebel Soul Tour with Bob Seger, Buckcherry and Hellbound Glory and his $20 Best Night Ever Tour joined by ZZ Top, Uncle Kracker and Kool And The Gang.
