Cher Adds Dates to her Dressed to Kill Tour
Cher is a performer that loves the stage. She’s had like four farewell tours, but she just can’t seem to stay away from that stage. The “Dressed to Kill Tour” (D2K) kicked off way back in March. Her previous lineup had her wrapping up the tour in mid-October. There will be sixteen more arena shows added onto her already full itinerary, starting Oct. 15 in Richmond, VA and will now (maybe?) wrap up Nov. 19 in North Charleston, SC.
Legendary acts, Pat Benetar and Neil Giraldo will be opening acts for shows from Sept. 11 through Nov. 3. Featured guests for the remainder of her tour have yet to be announced.
Cher’s last album, “Closer to the Truth” was released a year ago. It was her 25th album. 25th! That’s awesome. The album reached the No. 3 spot on The Billboard 200 and No. 4 on the U.K. Albums chart.
There’s that joke that’s been around for ages, “After a nuclear holocaust, all that will be left are cockroaches and Cher,” and I’m pretty sure that’s spot on. That woman will be around until the end of time.
