Randy Travis & James Dupre Present: – The Music of Randy Travis 2019 Tour

It’s been awhile since his last tour, but Randy Travis is ready to make a come back after a debilitating stroke in 2013.  He will be making special appearances on select U.S. stages with longtime touring band, wife Mary and former “The Voice” contestant James Dupre.  Dupre will be taking over on vocals as Travis is unable to sing.  The first of 12 shows will kick off Oct. 16 in Indianapolis, IN and will wrap up Nov. 2 in Green Bay, WI.  He will also visit cities like Evansville, Nashville, Atlanta and Minneapolis.

Throughout his career, Travis has taken home 6 Grammy Awards along with a whole bunch of ACM, AMA, CMA and GMA Dove Awards (that’s a lot of acronyms).  To date, his most successful album was “Always & Forever” which has since been covered by great artists like Carrie Underwood, Steve Earle and Doug Supernaw.  The album has since been certified 5x Platinum by the RIAA and includes the hit singles, “Forever and Ever, Amen,” “Too Gone Too Long” and “I Told You So.”  He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2016.
