Three 6 Mafia is Ready for a Comeback!

Exciting hip-hop news! For the first time since 2012, Juicy J and DJ Paul are getting the gang back together as Three 6 Mafia for s series of reunion concerts.  As of today, three shows have been confirmed, kicking off with an appearance at the One Musicfest in Atlanta on Sept. 7th.  After that, they will perform at Loud Records’ 25th Anniversary event Loud 25 at the Prudential Center in Newark on Oct. 11 and will conclude with a headlining show in Southaven, MS at the Landers Center on Oct. 12th.  The last two shows, fans can look forward to special guests DMX and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.  More shows will be announced for 2020.  Stay tuned!

In 2012, Three 6 Mafia went on hiatus. Since then, two of the original members, Lord Infamous and Koopsta Knicca have died.  R.I.P.  It is uncertain at this time if the other surviving members of the group, Gangsta Boo and Crunchy Black will join back up with Juicy J and DJ Paul for the reunion shows.

In a statement announcing their reunion, DJ Paul said, “This year has already been a banner year for new music and production from both of us. I know this is what the fans have been asking for, so we’re ready to bring them the classics, along with our new music in the best possible way. To quote LL, don’t call it a comeback, we have officially been here for years, and we’ve got a lot to show for it. Just wait to see what comes next.”
