Melissa Etheridge Plans MEmphis Rock and Soul Tour This Fall
She’s the only. She’d walk across a fire for you. She’s the one and only Melissa Etheridge, and the queen of the guitar has announced a short 8-date tour. This tour will be in support of her yet to be released album, “MEmphis Rock and Soul” and will kick off on Oct. 7 in Washington D.C. and will wrap up Oct. 29 in Marskville, LA. She will also visit Glenside, Morristown, NYC, Chicago, Meridian and Memphis. After her tour concludes, ME will hit the road with the Holiday Trio for sixteen shows.
Melissa plans to release her newest and sixth studio album, “MEmphis Rock and Soul” on Oct. 7. Her last album, “This is M.E.” was released in 2014 and peaked the #21 spot on the Billboard 200. Last year, she released a live album titled, “A Little Bit of Me: Live in L.A.” which was recorded during her last show of her “This is M.E. Tour.” In total, Melissa has sold over 27 million records worldwide and have won many Oscar and Grammy awards.
