Phoenix Announces Short North American Fall Tour

French rock group Phoenix just announced that they will be going back to North America for a new tour this fall.  The tour will be in support of their latest album, “Ti Amo.” and will kick off for the first of six shows Oct. 10 in Columbus, OH and will continue on to Detroit, Montreal (Yea French Canadians), New Haven, Washington D.C. and Providence.  Phoenix had already toured stateside earlier this year; stopping in Miami, Orlando, Nashville, Philadelphia and Chicago.  Special guests were Whitney, The Lemon Twigs and Miike Snow.  Phoenix was also a fixture on the festival scene, having performed at Shaky Knees, Governor’s Ball, Field Trip and X Fest.

Phoenix just unleashed their newest album, “Ti Amo” on June 9 via Loyaute and Glassnote Records.  It is the band’s sixth studio album.  Their previous album, “Bankrupt!” was released in 2013 and peaked at the #4 spot on the Billboard 200 and includes the hits “Trying to Be Cool,” “Entertainment” and “S.O.S. in Bel Air.”  In support of that album, Phoenix traveled extensively including headlining the annual Austin City Limits Festival.
