Temple of the Dog Announces 2016 Reunion Tour!

Temple of the DoCrazing, amazing tour announcement!!!  Temple of the Dog, yes, you read that right, will be hitting the road for the first time in 25 years!  The 90’s supergroup consisting of Chris Cornell, Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, Mike McCready and Matt Cameron will head out in celebration of their 25th anniversary of their self-titled album.  Fans can check them out in Upper Darby, NYC, San Francisco, Inglewood and Seattle.

Cornell said in a press release, ““We wanted to do the one thing we never got to do … play shows and see what it feels like to be the band that we walked away from 25 years ago. This is something no one has ever seen.”

To prep for the upcoming tour, fans can look forward to UMe to reissue the album, new demos and unheard tracks, as well as a new remix from producer Brendan O’Brien.

Temple of the Dog was formed after the death of Cornell’s close friend, Andrew Wood who was the frontman for Mother Love Bone.  Cornell turned to song writing as a way of dealing with his grief.  Ament, Gossard and McCready were playing with Eddie Vedder way back when Pearl Jam was first getting started.

This tour is remarkable in that Temple of the Dog has only performed live a few times and mostly with Pearl Jam.
