Slayer announce final leg of farewell tour with Primus, Ministry, and Philip Anselmo and The Illegals

American thrash metal icons Slayer just announced the very last leg of their lengthy farewell tour.  They added a month long leg later this fall with other metal bands like Primus, Ministry, and Philip Anselmo & The Illegals. The seventh and final (or so they say) leg of Slayer’s almost two-year long tour dubbed “The Final Campaign” will get underway Nov. 2 in Asheville, North Carolina, and conclude with a historic final show at The Forum in the band’s hometown of Los Angeles on November 30th.

Fans can also look forward to opening act Philip Anselmo & The Illegals who will perform a special “Vulgar Display of Pantera” set during the tour, including classics from Anselmo’s legendary metal band.

When all is said and done at the end of November, Slayer will have played 140 shows in 30 countries.  They dropped the news of a farewell tour in January of 2018.

Before the final leg kicks off, Slayer will be wrapping up a summer European jaunt, followed by select festival dates in late July, August, September, and October including Riot Fest, Heavy Montreal and Exit 111.
