2014 MLB All-Star Game Line-Up Announced

Another departure from my normal concert posts…just today, the rosters for the 2014 All-Star game were announced.  The teams are made up by votes from players and then chosen by All-Star managers Mike Matheny of the Cardinals and John Farrell of the Red Sox.  The starting positions players are made by fans.  The All-Star Game is Tuesday, July 15 in Minneapolis at Target Field.

There are 34 players per team.  66 players were announced today, the remaining two spots will be picked via fans by way of the Final Vote.    One stipulation is that any pitcher that pitches on Sunday, July 13th is ineligible to pitch in the All-Star game.  prior to the actual All-Star game, the Futures Game will take place on July 13 and the Home Run Derby will take place on July 14.

There will be a representative from each of the 30 baseball teams.  Below you will see the full All-Stars line-up.  Line-up is subject to change based on injuries.
