One of the hottest, up and coming electropop bands, St.Lucia, announced a lengthy North American tour named “The Night Comes Again Tour.” The tour will kick off Sept. 25 in Pittsburgh, PA and will wrap up Nov. 25 in Washington, D.C. Prior to this tour, St. Lucia will be wrapping up their busy summer that includes festival appearances (Summerfest, Forecastle, Osheaga, Oya and Pukkelpop) and their sold out summer tour.
In addition to the tour, the band will be coming out with a delux edition of their debut album named “When The Night” which was released in 2013. The expanded bundle includes three new songs.
Frontman-producer Jean-Philip Grobler’s includes his diverse influences from the 80s, 90s and early 00s. He said to Billboard, “For most of the time that I was creating ‘When the Night,’ all three of these tracks were meant to be on the album. As time wore on, however, and I wrote more and more material, it seemed to me that some of the newer tracks, like ‘The Night Comes Again’ and ‘When the Night’ worked in the flow of the album better. My intention was always to make an album that worked well as a flow of moods, and after listening through the album probably hundreds of times, I decided to go with the way it is now. That isn’t to say that I feel like any of these tracks are lesser tracks, but they fell by the wayside in consideration of the bigger picture, and for a more concise album.”
