Alan Jackson 25th Anniversary Tour
Good news country fans! Alan Jackson recently announced that he will be hitting the road next year to celebrate his 25th year in country music. The 2015 tour will include about 25 dates which are TBA. Prior to this historic tour, Jackson can be seen this summer for his North American tour. Stops on this year’s tour include Bethlehem, Fredericksburg, Hershey and others. Jimmy Buffett will be joining Jackson in Hershey on Aug. 30.
Jackson said at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, “A lot of people wanted to know if this was a retirement announcement. I don’t work that much now. I don’t know what I would retire from.”
Since Jackson really got his start in 1990, twenty-four years ago, he has recorded and released fifteen studio albums. Jackson’s last album was released in 2013, named “The Bluegrass Album.” He expects to release new music in the near future. His sound mixes country music with good ol’ honky tonk. He is immensely popular, have had more than 50 of his singles charted on Billboard’s list of the “Top 30 Country Songs.” Some of his most memorable songs include, Don’t Rock the Jukebox, Chattahoochee and Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning).
