Country Music Songstress Lauren Alaina Announces Fall Tour

American Idol alumni and county music star, Lauren Alaina dropped the news of a short U.S. tour later this fall to support her latest album, ‘Road Less Traveled.’  The tour is dubbed the ‘That Girl Was Me Tour’ and the first of nine shows will kick off Sept. 14 in Columbia, SC and will wrap up Oct. 25 in Nashville, TN.  She will also stop in Warrendale, NYC, Richmond, Boston, Columbus, Indianapolis and Atlanta. Special guests Filmore will join her on tour.  Fans can also check her out at a number of festivals this summer too like the Country LakeShake, Country Summer Festival, WCOS June Jam Party and Tatanka Music Fest.  Already in 2019, she has toured with Blake Shelton on his Friends and Heroes Tour with The Bellamy Brothers, John Anderson and Trace Adkins.  An American Idol vs. The Voice shown down huh.  Interesting.

Lauren Alaina released her latest album, ‘Road Less Traveled’ in January of 2017 via Mercury Nashville and Interscope Records.  It is her second album and climbed all the way to #3 on the Billboard Country chart.  Her debut album, ‘Wildflower’ was released in 2011.  In 2017, she also joined forces with Kane Brown for their duet ‘What Ifs’ which peaked at the #1 spot on five different Billboard charts.  2017 was a real busy year for Alaina as she ALSO teamed up wiht Martina McBride on her ‘Love Unleashed Tour,’ Luke Bryan‘s ‘Huntin’, Fishin’, and Lovin’ Everyday Tour’ AND Dallas Smith’s ‘Side Effects Tour.’  Yikes, that girl knows how to put in the work!
