BasketballToday, the Final Four was finalized. This year’s 2015 NCAA Basketball Tournament finalized today when Duke clinched the win against Gonzaga with a 16-point, five-rebound show from freshman star, Justise Winslow. The final score was 66-52. Duke is the third No.1 seed in the tournament to advance to the Final Four. While the Final Four won’t exactly be showcasing a ton of underdogs, or any at that rate, it will still be a very exciting finale. In the Final Four, Duke will be matched against No. 7 seed Michigan State on Saturday. The No.1 seed Kentucky will be matched up against No. 1 seed Wisconsin in the second national semifinal. Coach Tom Izzo of Kentucky and Mike Krzyzewski of Wisconsin have had 19 Final Fours between them. In fact, Krzyzewski just tied Jon Wooden for the most Final Four showings with twelve.

This won’t be the first match up this season between Duke and Michigan State. Duke took the W in that game 81-71 with a stellar showing from Quinn Cook and his 19-points.

When Michigan State edged out Louisville, it came as a big of a surprise as the team had an inconsistent season, having lost more than nine games. This is the team’s first trip to the Final Four since 2010.

The Final Four tournament that will take place in Indianapolis is sure to be a nail biter.  Did your team make it?
